“Consciously fresh.”
Playing into Om Boys Juice and Smoothie Café’s motto, you would have to be unconscious to not enjoy their fresh, delicious smoothies.
Om Boys, originating from Liverpool, has recently opened their newest location downtown in Armory Square, on Walton St., directly across from Urban Outfitters and Namu Restaurant.
This café’s mission is to provide customers with fresh, organic ingredients in order to make their smoothies and juices not only healthy, but refreshing as well.
As soon as you step foot into Om Boys doors, you are struck with the sight of the simple, kelly-green walls, the trimmed countertops and tables, and the instant welcoming from friendly employees.
Not only is the café pleasing to the eyes, it is quite pleasing to your stomach too! I can honestly say, as a smoothie enthusiast for some time now, I have never had a smoothie quite like the one I had at Om Boys. These smoothies just taste so much fresher and heartier, mainly because they are not diluted down with ice or milk…which don’t always help smoothie go down so well. Instead, Om Boys takes a more “contemporary approach” with the creation of the smoothies, using only almond mylk, fresh coconut water or meat, and frozen fruit juice as the base.
With catchy names like “Wanna-Date,” “Purple Haze,” and “Creamsicle,” it’s hard to resist any of these sweet treats. They offer 16 different types of smoothies, but if you can’t seem to settle on one choice of smoothie, Om Boys can take care of you! They can accommodate your palette by offering to substitute or add extra items to any smoothie of your choosing, leaving you with endless combinations of refreshing fruits and flavorings.
As difficult as it was to choose, I finally decided on ordering “Pura Vida,“ with coconut, pineapple, and mango. And I was not disappointed! The “Pura Vida” tasted like a tropical vacation in your mouth, each flavor complimenting the other with every sip!
